About

My name is Egemen. I use this site to write about software, systems, security, and the practical tradeoffs behind them.

I am interested in work that can be inspected, explained, and maintained. That usually means explicit boundaries, modest claims, and enough detail for a reader to evaluate an argument independently.

The site is intentionally small. It contains essays rather than a publishing schedule, and it does not collect comments, subscriptions, or visitor profiles. New articles are available through the RSS feed.

For implementation details, see Architecture.
